LISTENING SCRIPT
PART I: Picture.
Directions:
There are three items in this part. For each item, you will see a picture on your test paper and you will hear four short statements. The statements will be spoken TWO TIMES. They will not be printed on your test paper, so you must listen carefully to understand what the speakers say.
When you hear the four statements, look at the picture on your test paper and choose the statement that best describes what you see in the picture. Then, on your answer sheet, find the number of the question and mark your answer.
Look at the sample below. Now listen to the four statements.
A. There are some birds in the sky
B. The man is riding a bicycle
C. He’s is looking at the tree.
D. He is going to the mosque
Statement (B), The man is riding a bicycle, best describes what you see in the picture. Therefore, you should choose answer (B).
Look at the sample Answer :

PART II : Question – Response.
Directions: In this part of the test you will hear several questions spoken in English, followed by three responses also spoken in English. The questions and responses will be spoken two times. They will not be printed in your test book, so you must listen carefully to understand what the speakers say. You have to choose the best response to each question.
Now listen to a sample question.
You will hear :
Woman : Good morning John, how are you ?
You will also hear :
Man :
A. I’m fine thank you.
B. I’m in the living room.
C. My name is John.
Choice (A) — I’m fine thank you —is the appropriate response to the question [Good morning John, how are you ]? Therefore, you should mark (A) on your answer sheet.

PART III : Short Conversation.
Directions:
In this part of the test You will hear five Short Conversations. For each Short Conversation you will hear a short conversation between two people. You will hear the conversations TWO TIMES. They will not be printed on your test paper, so you must listen carefully to understand what the speakers say. On your test paper, you will read a question about each conversation. The question will be followed by four answers. You are to choose the best answer to each question, and mark your answer in the answer sheet.
Example :
You will hear :
Girl : Are you sixteen yet?
Boy :Not yet, but my birthday is in March.
Girl :When in March?
Boy :It is March 20th.
You will read : What do you learn from the conversation ?
A. The girl is sixteen years old.
B. the boy is twenty years old.
C. The boy was born in March.
D. The girl’s birthday is March 20.
Choice (C) – “The boy was born in March” – best answers the question – “What do you learn from the conversation? Therefore, you should mark (C) on your answer sheet.
Now let’s begin part three, Short Conversation .
7. Dialogue 1. for Number 7
:
[Woman’s voice] : You’re seeing that movie again ? But I saw it with you last year.?
[Man’s voice] : I see it every year when it plays. It’s a classic.
8. Dialogue 2 for Number 8
Man : We need the auditorium for a meeting Wednesday morning.
Woman : I am sory . It’s sceduled all day . Can you use the conference room ?.
Man : No, that’s not really big enough.
9. Dialogue 3 for Number 9
[Man’s voice] : There’s an art show in the park.
[Woman’s voice] : That sounds like fun. Can you go after work?
[Man’s voice] : No, it closes at dark .Let’s plan it for Sunday.
Dialogue 4 for Number 10
[Woman’s voice] : What do you think of this restaurant ?
[Man’s voice] : I can’t believe how expensive that restaurant is .
[Woman’s voice] : But you have to admit , the food is excellent.
[Man’s voice] : yes, but it cost me a week’s salary.
Dialogue 5 for Number 11
[Woman’s voice] : Didn’t Soimah go on vacation last week ?
[Man’s voice] : She planned it to, but she got a flue. She stayed home sick all week. .
[Woman’s voice] : I’m sorry to hear that. I know she wanted to get away and see a new plece.
PART IV.: Short – talk.
Directions:
In this part of the test you will hear two short talks. Each will be spoken TWO TIMES. They will not be printed on your test paper, so you must listen carefully to understand what the speakers say.
Questions number 12 - 13 refer to the following instruction.
Dropbox is a free service that lets you bring your photos, docs, and videos anywhere and share them easily. Never email yourself a file again!
1. Go to http://www.dropbox.com
2. Select the blue button that says “Download Dropbox”.
3. Save the Dropbox application .
4. Run the Dropbox installer.
5. Select the option “I don’t have a Dropbox account”, and then click on the “Next” button.
6. Fill in the requested information on the form that appears.
7. Select your Dropbox size, and then select the “Next” button.
8. Your dropbox should now be created.
